Location Directions

The following directions are the quickest ways to get to the elopement locations that help you avoid traffic issues. You are more than welcome to plan your own using maps and GPS Navigation but please add extra time as these never show traffic issues…. )

DIRECTIONS TO LA JOLLA LOCATION

FROM THE SOUTH
(Downtown San Diego, Mission Bay, Hotel Circle, etc)
Take 5 North
Exit La Jolla Parkway (no turns as exit becomes La Jolla Parkway)
La Jolla Parkway becomes Torrey Pines Road
Continue on Torrey Pines Road
At top of hill turn right on Prospect
Follow Prospect through La Jolla Village
After the village look for the La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art on your right.
First street following museum is Cuvier, turn right.
Cuvier ends at Coast Blvd. Find  Parking as Cuvier Park is on the corner of Cuvier and Coast directly in front of you.

FROM THE NORTH
(Del Mar, Oceanside, Los Angeles, etc.)
Take 5 south
Exit La Jolla Village Drive
Turn right
At top of hill turn left on Torrey Pines Road
At bottom of hill Torrey Pines Road merges with La Jolla Parkway, merge to right.
Continue on Torrey Pines Road
At top of hill turn right on Prospect
Follow Prospect through La Jolla Village
After the village look for the La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art on your right.
First street following museum is Cuvier, turn right.
Cuvier ends at Coast Blvd. Find  Parking as Cuvier Park is on the corner of Cuvier and Coast directly in front of you.

FOR THE ADVENTUROUS WANTING TO AVOID THE VILLAGE TRAFFIC
Do not turn right on prospect and follow these directions.
Continue on Torrey Pines Road until it ends at Girard
Turn left on Girard (Vons market directly ahead of you)
Turn right on Pearl (first light)
Turn right on La Jolla Blvd (just past Jack in the Box)
Follow to top of hill to stop sign
Continue straight to bottom of hill
turn right on Coast Blvd South
Where Coast Blvd South and Coast Blvd come together, You’re THERE!
Find parking!

DIRECTIONS TO SUNSET CLIFFS

FROM THE NORTH (INTERSTATE 5)

Take 5 south
Exit Rosecrans
Continue on Rosecrans through Point Loma
Turn right on Talbot
Go to top of hill and Turn right Catalina (2nd Signal)
Prepare for a quick left onto Hill St.
Take Hill street to very bottom of hill
Turn left on Sunset Cliffs Blvd
Find Parking.

FROM THE NORTH (INTERSTATE 15)

Take 15 south
Take 163 South
Take Highway 8 West
Turn left when freeway ends
Take two left lanes to Nimitz
(Do Not take Sunset Cliffs Blvd unless you are VERY early because of traffic issues)
Take exit to Famosa / Catalina (ramp on right)
Turn Right
Take Catalina to Hill Street
Turn right on Hill Street
Take Hill street to very bottom of hill
Turn left on Sunset Cliffs Blvd
Find Parking.

FROM THE EAST

Take Highway 8 West
Turn left when freeway ends
Take two left lanes to Nimitz
(Do Not take Sunset Cliffs Blvd unless you are VERY early because of traffic issues)
Take exit to Famosa / Catalina (ramp on right)
Turn Right
Take Catalina to Hill Street
Turn right on Hill Street
Take Hill street to very bottom of hill
Turn left on Sunset Cliffs Blvd
Find Parking.

FROM THE SOUTH

Take 5 North

DIRECTIONS TO CORONADO

Hotel Del Location

From Interstate 5
Take Coronado Bay Bridge West (Highway 75)
Turn left on Orange Ave
Follow through Coronado
Hotel Del Coronado is on your right
Parking: Valet or Public Parking for a fee at the Del or
simply do street parking. Many local streets have no metered parking available

Bayview Park Location

From Interstate 5
Take Coronado Bay Bridge West (Highway 75)
Turn right on Orange
Turn left on First St
Look for Bayview Park on right between H and I streets

DIRECTIONS TO DEL MAR

For Cliffs above Torrey Pines Beach Location

From Interstate 5
Exit Del Mar Heights Road and go West
Turn left on Camino Del Mar
1/4 mile on right, look for Parking off road near
“Pay to Park” machines.
TIP: Bring plenty of change for parking.

For Seagrove Park/Powerhouse Park Location

From Interstate 5
Exit Del Mar Heights Road and go West
Turn Right on Camino Del Mar
Turn left on 15th
Turn right on Coast Blvd
Find Parking
